For over thirty years, the goal of In His Image Family Medicine Residency has remained the same: to provide exceptional training for serving God through medicine. The mission of In His Image is to improve health and bring hope by training physicians in our Family Medicine Residency Program, giving excellent holistic healthcare to our patients and providing medical education and healthcare overseas.
We train our residents to practice compassionate medicine in a wide variety of settings, focusing on medically underserved populations in the United States (both urban and rural) and overseas. We see medicine as a ministry and invite you to explore with us what it means to be a physician at In His Image.

Why should a Christian student apply to your program?
If you want to learn how to integrate faith and medicine, desire to serve the underserved either domestically or internationally and be a part of a supportive Christian community and program, please consider our program. Our residents graduate with the skills to use medicine as ministry.
What specific resources are available within your program or community to encourage spiritual growth?
All of our staff are part of a church in the area. We encourage and assist the residents to find a church home during their time here. We do our best to not schedule on Sundays, if possible, so they can attend church. We also have weekly bible studies, resident wives bible study group, and more.
Do you accept/sponsor visas for international students or medical schools?
